All tests

Pick a field and look. The same engine runs on every page. Decoration stays outside the test surface.

White · #FFFFFF

Off by default. When it is on, the full-screen field walks through white, black, red, green, blue and grey, about 5 seconds each. It does not flash, and it does not fix pixels.

Visual inspection — this tool does not automatically detect defects.

How the groups differ

Colour pages are one field. The dead-pixel test is a sequence. Uniformity is the grey set. Bleed is black, in a dark room. Gradients are ramps, with the blend method written under the preview.

What is not in this version

No motion test, no touch grid, no refresh-rate estimate and no pass score. Those are easy to over-claim from a browser. The method page says what the engine can and cannot know.

Questions

Where do I start?

If you already saw a dot, open the dead-pixel test. If the screen looks stained, open uniformity. If you are not sure, use the guided check.

Are the colour pages different tools?

No. They use the same engine and the same hex values. Each page adds the notes that matter for that field.

Is motion, touch or refresh rate here?

Not in this version. A moving pattern is easy to misread, and a browser frame counter is not the panel’s response time. Those checks are left out on purpose.
